Welcome to Bratton Clovelly Under 5's

Bratton Clovelly Under 5's was first established in 1986 and was set up as a playgroup in the Parish Hall for children aged 0 -5 years. In March 2007 a room within the Parish Hall was converted into a classroom to meet the needs of the pre-school children.

Staff and parents worked hard to fundraise and refurbish the room to provide a well equipped room designed to accommodate pre-school aged children. They named the room the ‘Tor Room’ inspired by the fabulous moorland views from the Parish Hall.

Those involved in the refurbishment have ensured that the room provides a welcoming, safe and stimulating environment in which the children can play and learn.

A recent Ofsted inspection praised the level of care and the quality of teaching and learning provided by the experienced and qualified staff.
The Ofsted report found all areas of the pre-school provision to be good.

The pre-school is now registered to take unaccompanied children from 2 and a half years to school age. Sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10a.m to 12.30p.m during term time.
If you are interested in your child joining the pre-school there are a few limited places still available.

Bratton Clovelly under 5’s still organise a thriving Parent and Toddler session on Mondays from 10a.m to 12.00 mid day for children aged 0-3 years. This takes place in the main Parish Hall.

It provides a great opportunity to meet other parents whilst your child has access to a range of play equipment and activities.
